caBIG(TM) In Vivo Imaging in SIIMS & RSNA

RADIOLOGICAL SOCIETY OF NORTH AMERICA (RSNA) -

The RSNA promotes radiology education and research aimed at improving the quality of healthcare. To this end, the RSNA holds an annual meeting every fall that draws numerous exhibitors and over 60,000 healthcare professionals. This meeting serves as an ideal platform on which the caBIG Imaging Workspace can showcase the ways in which its tools and standards contribute to standardization and interoperability within the research and clinical trials communities.

SIIM (SOCIETY FOR IMAGING INFORMATICS IN MEDICINE) -

SIIM aims to enhance the delivery of healthcare by promoting the advancement of medical imaging and information technologies. The society uses annual meetings to bring together a broad base of imaging informatics stakeholders, who the caBIG Imaging Workspace reaches out to via technical exhibits and educational & general sessions. The workspace demonstrates how its tools and standards contribute to progress in imaging informatics and subsequently improved patient outcomes, focusing especially on how the workspace's efforts are actionable on an individual basis for event attendees.
