Data tables: The MEPS-HC Summary Data Tables contain health insurance coverage categories on most tables. These tables include an insurance category of PUBLIC, which includes Medicare, Medicaid, and SCHIP along with other types of public health insurance. For the 65 and older population, these tables include insurance categories of Medicare only, Medicare and private, and Medicare and other public.

Analytic tools: With the MEPSNet/HC query tool, respondents can be identified as ever having Medicare or Medicaid coverage during the year.
