Dental
Description: The MEPS-HC collects detailed information on dental events, including source of payment(s), total payment and total charge, type of provider seen and procedures(s) associated with each dental event. The Dental Visits Files are available as part of the event-level files. Information summarized to the person-level is available on the full-year consolidated files under the Household Full Year Files
Data tables: The dental services tables of the MEPS-HC Summary Data Tables contain expenditures and utilization data.
Analytic tools: With the MEPSNet/HC query tool, you can select the annual person-level dental data and generate your own tables.
Publications: Publications are listed in reverse chronological order (most recent first).
