The Bayh-Dole Act provides for flow
down of invention rights. The subcontractor may retain rights,
but is obligated to comply with reporting requirements to
the same extent as the grantee or contractor organization.
IEdison allows reporting of subcontractor inventions. In
addition to the subcontract number to identify the subcontractor,
iEdison allows the subcontractor to identify the prime contractor:
name, city, state and country. This information lets the
government track the flow-down provisions of the law.
The iEdison system allows up to four subcontracts to be
associated with an invention. Subcontractor information
may be added using the "Add/Edit Subcontractor Details"
button. |
