OHS Mission Statement

It is the policy of the NCI-Frederick to create and maintain a healthy and safe workplace, and to promote a healthy work force as its most valuable and enduring resource. Occupational Health Services (OHS) provides comprehensive health services, emergency medical response and treatment for accidental injury or illness affecting NCI-Frederick employees.

The Environment, Health and Safety directorate, which includes Occupational Health Services, is dedicated to ensuring a safe, healthful, and environmentally friendly workplace for all employees and visitors to the National Cancer Institute at Frederick (NCI-Frederick).

Our goal of compliance with all applicable Federal, state, and local safety laws and regulations is achieved with comprehensive medical services, and innovative safety and environmental programs, guided by an exceptional staff.
