Institute: National Institute on Aging (NIA) Alzheimer’s Disease: Unraveling the Mystery, a new 80-page book from NIA, helps readers understand Alzheimer’s disease (AD), its impact on individuals and society, and research advances to prevent or diminish the effects of the disease. Written for people with AD, their families, health care professionals, students, and others, this colorful, illustrated report: - Describes the basics of the healthy brain.
