Call for Nominations for
New Members for the Panel on Antiretroviral Guidelines for Adults and
Adolescents
The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Panel
that issues the Guidelines
for the Use of Antiretroviral Agents in HIV-1-Infected Adults and
Adolescents is accepting nominations for new
members with clinical research and/or practice expertise in HIV management
to serve a 3-year term beginning February 2007. New members will work with
other Panel members in critically evaluating new information and preparing
guidelines revisions. Candidates should be recognized experts in HIV
medicine with outstanding records of publications and presentations in
areas related to antiretroviral therapy. Read

The Panel
is also seeking nominations for a new community member representative
to serve a 3-year term on the panel. The ideal individual will have
knowledge and involvement in issues related to HIV treatment education,
advocacy or clinical/public policy initiatives related to treatment of
