Medical Emergencies
Dial 911 if an accident or emergency occurs at your work site. OHS staff members are trained in emergency response, and are available from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. After hours, Protective Services officers will respond to emergencies. If an ambulance is needed, OHS/Protective Services will call one.
When OHS staff or other emergency personnel have been called to an emergency in your area, have a staff member wait at the outside entrance to the building to escort them in.
At off-campus sites, local city or county emergency services can be summoned by dialing 9 - 911. OHS should then be notified so that proper followup can be initiated.
