Details for Upcoming iEdison 2 Workshops

The upcoming workshops listed below are designed to provide current and prospective iEdison users with familiarity with the new iEdison 2 functionality: the look and feel, navigation, and new features of iEdison 2.

During the 90 minute presentation, the attendees will learn of the way that the iEdison system is architected and how the new site compares with the old site. This information will be conveyed through a PowerPoint slide presentation. At the same time, and interposed among the PowerPoint slides, will be a live demo of the system. Though it will not be possible to provide a computer laboratory setting to afford attendees with a hands-on experience, the demo presentation will cover all major aspects of the iEdison 2 functionality. In particular the following features will be emphasized:

  • Organization Registration and Accounts Administration
  • Home page and navigation through the system
  • The iEdison test/demo site
  • New streamlined logon procedures
  • New binary document uploading of invention disclosure, confirmatory license and patent government support clause
  • New graphical user representation of an invention and it associated patent(s)
