Cutaneous T Cell Lymphoma Working Group
Mission Statement
The cutaneous T cells lymphomas (CTCL) are comprised of a number of non-Hodgkins T cell lymphomas, including mycosis fungoides and Sezary syndrome, which have their primary manifestations in the skin. The Cutaneous T Cell Lymphoma Working Group is composed of physicians, scientists, and allied health professionals who conduct research (both basic and clinical) on the etiology, pathogenesis, and treatment of these relatively rare cancers. The major goals of this group are (1) to promote the dissemination of new CTCL research within the members of the organization and (2) to act as a multidisciplinary tumor board to provide advice on the treatment of patients referrred to NCI with complex or advanced CTCL, especially in the context of relevant NCI-sponsored clinical trials conducted at the NIH Clinical Center.
