The
Heart Truth Professional Education Program offers you
a unique, cutting edge continuing medical education
(CME)/continuing education unit (CEU) experience in an
interactive, case-based format. The modules cover a series of
four patient scenarios. Each patient initially presents with a
complaint leading to a variety of workups and queries. In the
process you will learn about:
- Risk Assessment and Primary Prevention of Coronary Heart
Disease in Low Risk Women
- Metabolic Syndrome and Coronary Heart Disease in Women
- Secondary Prevention of Coronary Heart Disease in Women
- Diagnosing Heart Disease in Women
Throughout the modules,
your clinical decision-making skills will be challenged, and
you will be coached for patient interviewing. Each module
takes about 15 to 60 minutes to complete, and feedback is
immediate during progress through the interactive scenarios.
