F|R|E|E CME/CEU Credits for Physicians and Nurses on Women's Heart Disease

The Heart Truth Professional Education MaterialsCredits Available through February 1, 2008:

Physicians
– maximum of 1.0 American Medical Association (AMA) Physician's Recognition Award (PRA) Category 1 Credit™

Nurses – 1.0 American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) contact hour

The Heart Truth Professional Education Program offers you a unique, cutting edge continuing medical education (CME)/continuing education unit (CEU) experience in an interactive, case-based format. The modules cover a series of four patient scenarios. Each patient initially presents with a complaint leading to a variety of workups and queries. In the process you will learn about:

  • Risk Assessment and Primary Prevention of Coronary Heart Disease in Low Risk Women
  • Metabolic Syndrome and Coronary Heart Disease in Women
  • Secondary Prevention of Coronary Heart Disease in Women
  • Diagnosing Heart Disease in Women

The Heart Truth Professional Education CMEThroughout the modules, your clinical decision-making skills will be challenged, and you will be coached for patient interviewing. Each module takes about 15 to 60 minutes to complete, and feedback is immediate during progress through the interactive scenarios.
