2-Butoxyethanol (TR-484)
The Subcommittee accepted the conclusions as written, no evidence of carcinogenic activity, for male F344 rats, equivocal evidence of carcinogenic activity for female F344 rats, and some evidence of carcinogenic activity for male and female B6C3F1 mice.
Glutaraldehyde (TR-490)
The Subcommittee accepted the conclusions as written, no evidence of carcinogenic activity, for male and female F344 rats and no evidence of carcinogenic activity for male and female B6C3F1 mice.
Methyleugenol (TR-491)
The Subcommittee accepted the conclusions as written, clear evidence of carcinogenic activity, for male and female rats, and, clear evidence of carcinogenic activity, for male and female mice.
Oxymetholone (TR-485)
The Subcommittee accepted the conclusions as written, equivocal evidence of carcinogenic activity, for male rats and, clear evidence of carcinogenic activity, for female rats.
Triethanolamine (TR-449)
Triethanolamine was re-reviewed to evaluate the effect of Helicobacter infection on the interpretation of the triethanolamine exposure to male mice. The Subcommittee accepted the conclusion as written, inadequate study, for male mice and also recommended the change from some evidence of carcinogenic activity in female mice to inadequate study. The conclusions proposed for male rats (equivocal evidence of carcinogenic activity) and female rats (no evidence of carcinogenic activity) were accepted as written.
