Compatibility Guidelines Version 3.0 Working Group

The release of caGrid 1.0 infrastructure and the experience of reference implementers and early adopters using caGrid 1.0 have resulted in the need to incorporate additional criteria into the “Gold” Maturity level of the Compatibility Guidelines Document.  The charge of the Compatibility Guidelines Version 3.0 Working Group is to develop and release version 3.0 of these guidelines with the incorporation of additional gold compatibility requirements.  Additionally, work in UML harmonization, vocabulary standards and CDE re-use has resulted in additional refinements in semantic requirements that will need to be incorporated into the guidelines.

The Compatibility Guidelines Version 3.0 Working Group is part of the Vocabularies & Common Data Elements (VCDE) and Architecture Workspaces.

Who should get involved?

The Compatibility Guidelines v3.0 Working Group is comprised of various Architecture and VCDE Workspace participants who are experienced in compatibility review processes and who possess the relevant subject matter expertise required to develop this documentation.
