Viruses, whether they are "worms", "trojan horses", "denials of service", or "viruses", threaten the integrity and usability of computer systems at NCI-Frederick everyday.  In order to safeguard computer systems critical to the mission of the NCI-Frederick, employees are encouraged to:

  • SA08-340A: Sun Java Updates for Multiple Vulnerabilities
  • SA08-319A: Mozilla Updates for Multiple Vulnerabilities

  • While Computer Services will alert users (via Majordomo) of any viruses that particularly threaten the NCI-Frederick campus, users are encouraged to regularly check the Symantec Anti-Virus Center for timely alerts.
