New CIT ManualNetwork Access to the Titan System
The manual, Network Access to the Titan System (November 2002), provides information on transferring files to and from Titan using FTP and on initiating interactive sessions through TN3270. Anyone using Titan through a network connection will find this Network Access manual very helpful. South system users who are now in the process of migrating to Titan should also take a look at this manual.
The Network Access to the Titan System manual is available from the CIT publications Web page in several formats:
South system users with a CIT account/initials combination, or users with a Unix username/login, can go to the CIT publications Web page, click on the category, "OS/390 Connectivity," and follow the prompts for the format you prefer: Titan users with a South account/initials can also use this method.
Titan users who have only a Titan USERid can order a hard copy from the CIT publications Web page. Fill in the form, select the Network Access manual listed under the category, "Introductory Information," and submit the form. A copy will be mailed to you or sent to your output box.
If you have any questions about ordering this manual, please contact the TASC help desk at (301) 594-6248.
