New Titan Batch Processing Manual Is Available
CIT has a new manual available for customers who submit batch jobs on Titan. The Titan Batch Processing manual describes the utilities and JCL needed for running batch jobs on Titan. Topics also include information about the Titan environment, printing procedures, and the tape environment. Most North-style and South-style JCL for submitting jobs will continue to work on Titan with minimal changes. However, CIT recommends that you acquaint yourself with the simpler Titan job statement and other batch processing changes.
How to Get a Copy
Titan Batch Processing is available only online. Go to the CIT publications Web pageunder the category "OS/390 Systems" click on the link for "Batch Processing and JCL." Note: If you are using a North-style userid (i.e., $iii), use the Titan order form link on the main publications page (right column) and look under "Programmer's Basic Set."
The manual is available in two formats:

printing to the central printers (if you have a South system account/initials combination or a Unix username/login) |
