South System AccountsWeb sponsor Now Allows Multiple Alternate Sponsors
Beginning November 19, 2001, account sponsors can designate multiple alternate sponsors for each of their accounts on the OS/390 South system (instead of only one alternate sponsor, as before). This will give sponsors more flexibility in enabling additional people to perform sponsor functions.
In addition, "preferred initials" are no longer requiredany initials may be used to designate a primary or alternate sponsor or deregistration official. Each account will still have only one primary sponsor, deregistration official, and alternate deregistration official.
Changes to the Web Sponsor Web Page
To incorporate this enhancement, the Web Sponsor Web page and accounts page have been changed. For accounts, the current actions"Change Sponsor or Alternate" and "Change Preferred Initials for Sponsor or Alternate"have been replaced by:
Change Primary Sponsor | allows a primary sponsor to designate a different set of initials as sponsor
Add Alternate Sponsor | allows a primary sponsor to add a set of initials as an alternate sponsor
|
Remove Alternate Sponsor | allows a primary sponsor to remove a set of alternate sponsor initials |
