Research SummaryThe research of the Laboratory of Molecular Toxicology (LMT) examines the mechanisms through which environmental factors impact critical biological processes, focusing on how such changes lead to toxicity and disease. Particular emphasis is placed on the applications of genetic and genomic approaches in LMT analysis of important gene/environment interactions. The NIEHS Microarrays Group operates out of LMT and supports genetic and genomic aspects of work conducted throughout the Division of Intramural Research (DIR) including the National Toxicology Program (NTP).
