What is RSS? Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is a lightweight XML format designed for sharing text and other Web content. It is used by computer programs that organize headlines and other content for easy reading and is a good way to learn of new, updated and changed content.
What do I need? RSS/News Aggregators (also called Readers) will download and display RSS feeds for you. A number of free and commercial News Aggregators are available for download.
How do I get a news reader? There is a range of different news readers available and new versions are appearing all the time. Different news readers work on different operating systems, so you will need to choose one that will work with your computer. A list of readers can be found here.
What is the URL for the RSS feed? https://webarchive.library.unt.edu/eot2008/20090106204026/http://www.vfw.org/rss/vfwfeed.xml
How do I subscribe to a feed? Most readers allow you to simply copy the URL of the feed into your RSS news reader. You can also add our feed to your Yahoo!, Google or AOL reader by clicking the appropriate button below.
