The Biostatistics Branch offers the following services to Institute scientists:

Statistical Consulting Service

The NIEHS Biostatistics Branch maintains a Statistical Consulting Service (SCS), which is available to all Institute scientists without cost. This service ranges from providing advice regarding study design and data analysis to more extensive collaborative research efforts that result in joint publications. Shyamal Peddada, Ph.D. (http://www.niehs.nih.gov/research/atniehs/labs/bb/staff/peddada/index.cfm), is the Director of SCS and Grace Kissling, Ph.D. (http://www.niehs.nih.gov/research/atniehs/labs/bb/staff/kissling/index.cfm), is the Chief Statistician.

Microarray & Genome Informatics

The NIEHS Biostatistics Branch maintains a Microarray & Genome Informatics (MGI) Service that is available to all Institute scientists without cost. This service provides bioinformatics, microarray data analysis, computational biology and statistical genetics/genomics support as well as software, database and application development expertise. Pierre Bushel, Ph.D. (http://www.niehs.nih.gov/research/atniehs/labs/bb/staff/bushel/index.cfm), is the Director of MGI.
