 The root of this plant has been used in some cultures to treat certain medical problems. It may have anti-inflammatory and anticancer effects. The scientific name is Rheum palmatum or Rheum officinale. Also called rhubarb, Chinese rhubarb, Indian rhubarb, and Turkish rhubarb.
