Biography

Dr. Aradhana Kaushal completed a combined B.A./M.D. from Boston University in 2002. She spent a year at the National Cancer Institute conducting research under the direction of Dr. Norman Coleman and Dr. David Gius, studying a possible mechanism for resistance of tumor cells to oxidative stress, which involves control of gene expression through transcription factor activation, methylation, and protein chaperone compartmentalization. She then completed her internship at Lenox Hill Hospital, a teaching hospital of New York University in Manhattan, in 2003 and completed a residency in radiation oncology at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa., in 2007. She joined the NCI in July 2007 as a staff clinician physician.
