Biography

Dr. James Thomas received his Ph.D. in 2001 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Department of Cell and Structural Biology. From 2001 to 2002 he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Armed Forces DNA Identification Laboratory in Rockville, MD. He joined the AIDS Vaccine Program in 2003, and is a member of the Retroviral Mutagenesis Section.
