Research

Our research focuses on deciphering the role of LAT in T cell development and T cell function using transgenic mouse models. In particular, a knock-in mutant of LAT (LATY136F) has revealed an important role for LAT in immune homeostasis since these knock-in mice have a severe lymphoproliferative disease. Our research also investigates the roles of other T cell signal transduction intermediates in the development and function of LATY136F and normal T cells.
