Performing a Historical Search

A basic FSR query includes all awarded, terminated, or amended grants, SNAP grants that are within 90 days to the end of the project period and Non SNAP grants that are within 90 days to the end of the budget period. However, it does not include fellowships, sub-projects and supplements.

When the grant is a Current Parent Grant that has not been purged (marked as a shell) a historical search should be performed.

Grants are purged once a year, usually within an April timeframe, when the following simplified criteria are met.

Date of Purge April 1998
Fiscal Year of record being purged 1995
Budget End Date 09/30/1995
For Fellowship and Training records the Budget End Date 09/30/1994
