Contractors
NCI-Frederick is the Department of Health and Human Service's only GOCO
(government-owned, contractor-operated) facility. Four separate
contractors hold the four contracts that provide services and support
to the investigators at NCI-Frederick in the areas of animal production,
computer and statistical services, operations and technical support, and
scientific library services.

Operations and Technical Support |
| The Operations and Technical Support (OTS) contractor,
currently SAIC-Frederick, Inc., serves as the infrastructure support
for the entire NCI-Frederick facility. SAIC-Frederick, Inc.
employs almost 1,300 staff, including scientists, research assistants,
technicians, engineers, administrative, maintenance, and support
personnel. SAIC-Frederick, Inc. is a subsidiary of Science
Applications International Corporation (SAIC).
