The NMR facility is located at the NIEHS Main Campus, 509 rolling acres of rhododendron, oak and pine in Research Triangle Park (RTP). RTP, a science and technology hub, was created by the state of North Carolina between Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill. The main NIEHS administrative offices and laboratories are on a large lake.
