Welcome to the Opportunities for Minorities in Cancer Research offered by the Comprehensive Minority Biomedical Branch (CMBB) of the Office of Centers, Training and Resources (OCTR) of the Deputy Director for Extramural Sciences (ODDES), of the National Cancer Institute (NCI).

Here we describe:

1)    the many training and career development opportunities available to minority individuals interested in pursuing cancer research careers in basic, clinical, prevention and population control sciences;

2)    the opportunities for minority institutions that are interested in increasing cancer research, training, outreach and education efforts; and

3)    the many useful resources available for obtaining and maintaining a successful, competitive career in cancer.
