    The Hormone Foundation’s physician referral directory comprises more than 3,000 endocrinologists who work with patients to diagnose, treat, and manage hormone-related conditions including diabetes, pituitary imbalances, thyroid disorders, menopause, and more.

    Consumer-friendly information on specific disease topics and conditions, as well as links to medical encyclopedias and dictionaries, drug information, directories of doctors and hospitals, and other resources.

  • MEDLINE
    A service of the National Library of Medicine that provides access to over 12 million MEDLINE citations since the mid-1960s and additional life science journals.

  • Full-text Medical Journals
    A selected list of free full-text online medical journals, particularly current issues of journals found in PubMed's MEDLINE.

Tools and Resources

  • NIDDK Image Library
    An online, searchable database of illustrations available to health care professionals and the general public. Items in this Library are not copyrighted. However, we do ask that you credit the source of the images as follows: National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, National Institutes of Health.

    A collection of titles, abstracts, and availability information for thousands of health education resources, including materials about endocrine and metabolic diseases.
