That part of Yellowstone National Park within Montana formerly was not
within a county and was treated as a county equivalent for statistical
data tabulation purposes. The area was dissolved as a county equivalent
and its territory subdivided between Gallatin County and Park County,
Montana; this change eliminates Yellowstone National Park (FIPS: 113)
as a county equivalent. |
