This course is for those who have experience with Excel and want to enhance their knowledge in the topic of formulas and functions. This course will discuss basic formulas and functions in a lecture/hands-on format.

The course files are available for download.
 
Objectives:
Topics to be covered include:
  • Creating formulas in Excel using values
  • Using 3-D cell references to create formulas
  • Absolute versus relative cell references
  • Looking at functions through Insert Function
  • Using named range in a function
  • Using basic functions
  • Using conditional formatting through logical functions
Who should attend:
NIH staff familiar with a previous version of Microsoft Excel.
