#823Creating Presentations with PowerPoint 2003
 
Description:
This introductory class will enable students to create polished presentations including effective graphics. Students will learn to apply special effects that appeal to an audience in a multimedia presentation.

Slides for this class are now available in HTML or in a printable version. The printable version will only work if you already have PowerPoint on your computer.

Exercises are also available in both HTML and a printable version.
 
Objectives:
Topics to be covered include:
  • Creating a slide
  • Use of the slide master for global changes
  • Templates and backgrounds
  • Choosing appropriate fonts, colors, and backgrounds
  • Special effects (animations and transitions)
  • Importing clip art
  • Importing screen-shots
  • Importing images from the Internet
  • Navigating through presentations
