#413BRB-ArrayTools Data Analysis Workshop

Description:
Aimed at existing users of BRB-ArrayTools, this workshop offers an opportunity to interact with professional statisticians to analyze and interpret your data. We will begin with a 2-hour presentation by Dr. Richard Simon on the analysis of microarray data. This will be followed by a day-long workshop where attendees will use BRB-ArrayTools to analyze their data and interact individually with Dr. Simon and the other professional statisticians for advice on study design and data analysis.

Attendees are expected to bring their own laptops with BRB-ArrayTools installed and their data-set of interest loaded. For instructions on collating data from mAdb into BRB-ArrayTools, click here.

Objectives:
Topics to be covered include:
  • Class comparison using genes or gene-sets
    • Multivariate permutation tests
