This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA), entitled "Brain Disorders in the Developing World: Research Across the Lifespan,"
solicits grant applications proposing the development and conduct of innovative, collaborative research and research training
projects, between developed and developing country scientists, on brain disorders throughout life, relevant to low- and middle-income
nations. The collaborative research programs are expected to: 1) involve research on neurological/neurodevelopmental (including
sensory, motor, cognitive and behavioral) function and impairment throughout life, and 2) contribute to the long-term goal
of building sustainable research capacity in developing countries to initiate and conduct such research.
