Powers welcomed everyone to the IAC meeting.
è NITAAC’s Outreach/Upcoming Shows Request for Mr. Victor E. Powers
Comments NITAAC Program Director
Victor Powers addressed NITAAC’s plans for attending
various 2007 Tradeshows. He specifically
addressed that several IAC members were absent from the meeting because both
NITAAC and Industry Representatives were attending the April 19th
Seventeenth Annual OSDBU Conference in Upper Marlboro MD. http://www.fbcinc.com/osdbu09/default.aspx that was ongoing
simultaneously.
Additionally, Mr. Powers addressed NITAAC’s plans for ramping up the NITAAC Outreach and Education program in the spring. IAC council members are encouraged to contact Victor Powers with any suggested additional shows or changes to the draft 2007 Tradeshow schedule previously distributed.

Mr. Powers then addressed partnering opportunities at the 3rd Annual Government Health IT Conference & Exhibition (Conference: June 14-15, 2007/Exhibition: June 14, 2007) at the Ronald Reagan Building, Washington, DC. At this conference Keynotes include: Dr. Michael Cowan, Chief Medical Officer, BearingPoint, and former Surgeon General, Dept. of the Navy; The Honorable Robert Howard, Assistant Secretary for Information and Technology and Chief Information Officer, Department of Veterans Affairs; and Dr. Robert Kolodner, National Coordinator, Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, Department of Health and Human Services.

è Collaborative Efforts of Subcommittees
in Mr. Donald Wilson
Developing GWAC Comparative Analysis Sr. Contracting Officer, NITAAC

Subcommittee member, led a roundtable discussion on behalf of Ms. Diane
McLaughlin, Programs Subcommittee Chair.
The discussion concerned results to date on the draft comparative
analysis of current, past, and future GWACs, and representative Agency ID/IQ
MACs. The results will be presented to
the IAC at the May 24th meeting.
è Discussion/Status of IAC Subcommittees
– Marketing Chair Ms. Geralynn Franceschini
The Marketing Subcommittee Chair reported on the status of her subcommittee efforts.
è Report on NITAAC Contract Performance
Mr. Donald Wilson and Mr. Greg Holliday, NITAAC Senior Contracting Officers, reported on NITAAC contract performance as of the end of March 2007.
• ECS III has an inception-to-date award total of 62,867 orders for a total value of $1.2B.
• IW2nd has currently awarded 457 Delivery Orders with a value of $71.3M and 43 Task Orders with a base award value of $13.2M and an option value of an additional $7.2M. Total $84.5M
• CIO-SP2i has 492 awarded Task Orders with a base value of $1.6B and an option year value of $6.7B if all options are exercised.
è Open Discussion/Potential Agenda Items for the Next Meeting
The next IAC Meeting will be held on Thursday, May24th from 2:30 P.M.– 4:00 P.M. in Bldg. 6100 Executive Blvd., in Conference Room 6D01. The IAC will, at a minimum, be presented with and discuss the results of the collaborative efforts of the subcommittees on the GWAC comparative analysis. The subcommittee minutes will be presented by each Subcommittee Chairperson. In addition, NITAAC Contract Performance and the ongoing efforts of the NITAAC Outreach and Education Team will be presented.
Your input is requested on any new agenda items for the
next IAC meeting. Please propose your
desired agenda items or your desire to participate on the IAC Subcommittees as
