The IAC member comments from the vendor community regarding the meeting were all very positive. They all commented on the valuable sharing of information and value of the information provided by NITAAC’s presenters.  It was especially noteworthy that most of NITAAC’s 134 prime contractors attended.

New RFQ system and training status- results of training at AFCEA West

Victor Powers, Greg Holliday and Mary Alice Johnson briefed on the lessons learned as a result of the pilot training conducted on the new RFQ system for ECS III while attending AFCEA West in San Diego the previous week.  This was a very valuable session for all involved in the training pilot.

IAC Membership and Strategies to improve Membership Development

The IAC decided to begin a membership push to increase the IAC membership to approximately five representatives from each of the three major GWACs run by NITAAC: ECS III, IW2, and CIO-SP2i. (The IAC Charter is attached.)

Accordingly, those IAC members who have missed the last three meetings from the current IAC will be asked if they wish to nominate other personnel from their companies for inclusion in the new expanded IAC since they are no longer participating.  New members are solicited to represent the three GWACs.

The IAC also decided to make a push to reinvigorate the three IAC Subcommittees for Marketing, Programs, and Government Affairs.  (The charters for these three subcommittees are attached.)

As a result of these initiatives, the following people representing NITAAC’s contract vehicles have expressed an interest in the joining the IAC or its subcommittees (some have expressed specific interest as follows- some are still TBD):
