2001 Summer Student Orientation
Our latest group of summer students got off to a great start. On Monday, June 11, they were treated to an afternoon of information about everything from laboratory safety to library services.

George Negrete introducing guest speaker, Dr. LaShawn Drew. George is a 2001 graduate of San Jose State University. He is working in the Laboratory of Molecular Gerontology with mentor, Dr. Patricia Gearhart. He spent summer 2000 working with mentors, Dr. Nikki Holbrook and Dr. John Kusiak in the Laboratory of Biological Chemistry.
