Walker & Dunlop Announces Merger

Walker & Dunlop Inc., a longtime, family-owned mortgage bank in Washington, today announced it is merging with a subsidiary of Credit Suisse Group in a move that will make the combined entity one of the bigger players in mortgage finance.


Missing 11-Year-Old Returns Home

An 11-year-old girl who had been missing from her Silver Spring home for more than a week returned home unharmed early this morning and was reunited with her family, Montgomery County Police said.
