Comprehensive Cancer Control in Washington!

The Washington State Department of Health is working with a statewide partnership to implement a comprehensive plan to reduce the burden of cancer.  The Program is funded by a grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as part of their National Comprehensive Cancer Control Program.

The Washington Comprehensive Cancer Control Partnership is a group of organizations and individuals working to address priorities within the Washington State Comprehensive Cancer Control Plan.

Literature Reviews and Survey Reports
- by the University of Washington's Alliance for Reducing Cancer Northwest (ARC NW)
The Colon and Prostate Cancer Task Forces receives funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention through the Washington State Department of Health to work on activities that will reduce mortality from colorectal and prostate cancer in Washington State.  Task Force members are guided with the assessment conducted by the University of Washington's Alliance for Reducing Cancer, Northwest, which produced literature reviews and survey reports on the status of screening activities within the state and throughout the country.
