Areas of Science/Program Contacts

The NINR Office of Extramural Programs (OEP) is divided into four Sections:

Section on Neuroscience, Genetics, & Symptom Management

Section on Child & Family Health, & Health Disparities

Section on Immunology, Infectious Disease, & Chronic Disorders

The Program Directors listed in each Section are experienced scientists who oversee the conduct of programs within their research portfolios. They are the main contact between NINR and the extramural research community, and serve as an important resource for current investigators, and for applicants seeking NINR research and training grants.

Individuals are strongly encouraged to contact the Program Director in their area of interest to discuss proposed research projects and/or training opportunities.
