Current academic program or career:
My research focuses on investigating the molecular basis of mammalian fertilization. In addition to identifying factors involved in the block to polyspermy, I hope to uncover the mechanisms involved in the conformational change to the zona pellucida following fertilization. My research also involves studying sperm-egg interaction using fluorescently tagged proteins and confocal imaging. |
