This notice extends the expiration date for the Parent R15 Academic Research Enhancement Award program announcement PA-06-042 to May 8, 2009.

Applications will be accepted for the standard February 25, 2009 and the AIDS & AIDS-related January 7, 2009 and May 7, 2009 submission dates.  A new funding opportunity announcement for the Academic Research Enhancement Award (AREA) parent R15 will be published after the final May 7, 2009 submission date.  All other aspects of PA-06-042 remain unchanged.
