Currently Funded Resources

The following resources are available to investigators seeking assistance with clinical laboratory technologies:

  • Consensus Laboratory Assay Protocols.
  • Consensus immunological assay protocols and virological assay protocols have been developed for implementation in multi-site HIV/AIDS clinical investigations.
  • Development, Implementation and Quality Assessment of Laboratory Methodologies.
  • DAIDS staff are available to provide assistance with approaches to the development, standardization, validation and quality assessment (proficiency testing) of immunological assays and virological assays for multi-site HIV/AIDS investigations. Also available is assistance with approaches to comparative evaluations of methodologies, kits, instruments and service laboratories (flow cytometry labs).
