Overview - Resource Guide for the Development of AIDS Therapies
Overview | Index | DAIDS Home

The purpose of this Resource Guide is to assist investigators developing (1) therapies for the treatment of HIV disease, opportunistic infections associated with AIDS, and tuberculosis, and (2) microbicide-based prevention strategies. The Guide contains information about NIH-funded resources (e.g., contracts), grant mechanisms via which investigators may seek their own funding, and points of contact among Division of AIDS (DAIDS) staff whom investigators can contact for additional information. The Guide is organized around the different basic steps in the drug development process and around a number of narrower, specialized topics:

Preclinical Drug Development

Clinical Drug Development
