NIH Research Training Opportunities for Minorities

Institute Coordinators

    Principal Investigators interested in mentoring minority applicants in behavioral and social sciences research may apply for a supplement to their current award. The NIH Research Supplements for Underrepresented Minorities program provide support for minorities at the high school to junior faculty level.  Institutes support the Research Supplements for Underrepresented Minorities program to the degree that funding is available.  If funding is not immediately available for a supplement, other avenues of collaboration or mentorship may be pursued.
