- What a search engine does and problems to be aware of when searching.
- Tips for evaluating websites.
- The benefits of using different search engines: the Big 3, top 100, metasearch, and visualization search engines.
- How to search for scholarly information, news, people, blogs, and images and non-text sources.
- General search strategies and methods for tapping the invisible web, the vast range of sources not covered by standard search engines.
