Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs at the U.S. Department of State

Fosters mutual understanding between the United States and other countries through international educational and training programs. The Humphrey Fellowships brings mid-level professionals from developing countries to the United States for a year of academic study and professional experiences. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)

Is recognized as the lead federal agency for protecting the health and safety of people - at home and abroad, providing credible information to enhance health decisions, and promoting health through strong partnerships. CDC provides a host of training and fellowship opportunities in areas such as Infectious Diseases, Genetics, Public Health Informatics, and others. National Science Foundation (NSF)

Is an independent U.S. government agency responsible for promoting science and engineering through programs that invest over $3.3 billion per year in almost 20,000 research and education projects in science and engineering. NSF's International Research Fellowship Program introduce scientists and engineers in the early stages of their careers to opportunities abroad, thereby furthering NSF's goal of establishing productive, mutually-beneficial relationships between U.S. and foreign science and engineering communities. Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS)

Offers several Masters and Doctoral degree programs. These programs are tuition free and open to foreign applicants. United States Agency for International Development (USAID)

Is an independent federal government agency that receives overall foreign policy guidance from the Secretary of State. The agency works in six principal areas crucial to achieving both sustainable development and advancing U.S. foreign policy objectives: Economic growth and agricultural development; Population, health and nutrition; Environment; Democracy and governance; Education and training (Human Capacity Development); and Humanitarian assistance.
