	Preferred Parking Privileges Donors are eligible to receive Extended Visitor ID Badges, which allow quick access to the NIH campus and to preferred parking.

Extended Visitor ID Badge

If you are a visitor to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and plan to donate blood here on a regular basis, we will help you obtain an Extended Visitor ID badge. This badge will facilitate your access to the NIH campus. Badges are in effect for 1 year and allow you access to the campus through any entrance, including employee entrances, without an extended security check. The photo ID for the badge is taken in the Visitor Center of the Clinical Center (a 2-minute walk from the NIH Blood Bank), Monday-Friday from 7:30 am - 4:30 pm. Ask any NIH Blood Bank staff member for an Extended Visitor ID application next time you donate. We are sure you will appreciate the convenience it affords.
