Databases on Display

  • Databases on Display: Part One The archived recording of the Tuesday, March 20th presentation is now available. The session features Marty Magee, Dana Abbey and John Bramble, respectively presenting: Toxmap, What's New on MedlinePlus, and Senior Health. The session is about 30 minutes long. Please note that the audio portion of the presentation is poor.

DOCLINE and Document Delivery Services

  • Simple Serial Holdings:     (EVERY 1ST TUESDAY OF THE MONTH)

    This 60 minute online class will provides an overview of DOCLINE's Serial Holdings. Participants will be provided with an introduction to the Serial Holdings database, how to add, remove, and update Holdings, how to run reports, and where to go to get additional resources. The live class is taught the first Tuesday of each month starting at 10am (Mountain Time). This class is for beginning level DOCLINE users but all DOCLINE users are welcome to attend!

  • DOCLINE Routing Tables to be Proud of:   (EVERY 2ND TUESDAY OF THE MONTH)

    This 60 minute online class will provide an in-depth look into DOCLINE Routing Tables. Participants will learn about using their Borrowing Preferences, explanation of copyright compliance, editing Routing Tables, M/A/N Map, setting up Lending Options, and more! The live class is taught the second Tuesday of each month starting at 10am (Mountain Time). This class is for beginning and intermediate level DOCLINE users but all DOCLINE users are welcome to attend!

Mental Health Resources

  • Caring for the Mind: Providing References Services for Mental Health Information. Presented by Marty Magee and Barbara Jones at the Wyoming Symposium, July 14, 2005. Responding to mental health reference questions is challenging for even the most experienced librarian. In "Caring for the Mind," participants will learn how to effectively provide reference services for mental health information for the public and will learn the best web sites, databases and collection development materials to respond to mental health related questions. You can view the streaming video (requires RealMedia Player); however, since some of the slides are not readable on the video, we also recommend downloading the slides in PowerPoint format.
