Protocol development requires a thorough understanding of the relevant research literature; knowledge of sources for instrument selection; and a review of adverse events for the drugs and technologies used in the study. In this class you will learn to use information sources, search techniques, and best practices for greater efficiency and effectiveness. Examples of databases and tools covered include ProQolid, Health and Psychosocial Instruments (HAPI), MICROMEDEX®, PubMed®, EMBASE™, DIOGENES® Adverse Drug Events Database, and Endnote®/Reference Manager® bibliographic software. | |
